Iyanya signs $350k endorsement deal with Zinox (Computers) Group

Iyanya is chopping endorsement deals anyhow. First MTN, now Zinox Group. The Kukere crooner yesterday signed a three hundred and fifty thousand dollars one year endorsement deal with Zinox Computers. Zinox computers, which is Nigeria’s first certified branded computers, will upload all Iyanya's songs and videos to all their computers. Iyanya will also do a song for them and appear on Zinox billboards and TV commercials.

ASUU may call off strike on thursday

here are indications that the on-going strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities might be called off next Thursday. Governor of Benue State, Mr Gabriel Suswam who dropped this hint Friday said ASUU and the Federal Government had reached agreements on all the contentious issues that led to the industrial action except two. Suswam who was appointed as Chairman of the Needs Assessment Implementation Committee of the Federal Government said after next Thursday's deliberations between his Committee and the various agencies of government funding tertiary education, all the contentious issues would likely be resolved. Speaking to news men in Abuja after attending a meeting between the Federal Government's delegation and ASUU, Suswam said that agreements had been reached by both parties on all issues except two. Asari Dokubo spits fire: Underage marriage is our right as muslims

Former militant and national leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteers Force, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has stated his position on the Underage Marriage Bill recently approved by the Senate. The controversial activist on his Facebook page disclosed his postion on the bill. Dokubo-Asari wrote, “People should learn to respect other people’s sensibilities. We, Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so. Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights.We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Plzzzzzzzz respect our.”
