Recently, in an interview, Osita bemoaned the how people viewed him. He expressed his disappointment about people seeing him as a child, hear him, “If you are a child in a drama, in real life you are not a child. You don’t need to behave like a child. Yes, a lot of people mistake me for a child in real life, but that is their problem. I am not a child. I don’t think I look like a child. I don’t allow that to bother me because I am not seeing it. People can see me and take me as a child, but that person is not with his senses because from the way I dress, the way I look, I don’t think I am looking like a child. Gervinho completes move to Roma

Gervinho has joined Italian Serie A side AS Roma for an undisclosed fee. After joining Arsenal from French club Lille in the summer of 2011, the Ivory Coast international went on to score four times in his first season with the Club, making an important contribution as the Gunners finished third to secure Champions League football. In 2012/13, the 26-year old started the season impressively, netting five times in his first seven appearances in all competitions. After a spell at the African Cup of Nations where he scored twice for the Ivory Coast, the forward returned to play a crucial part in the Premier League run-in, hitting two more goals in the wins over Swansea City and Reading. Gervinho started his career at the famed ASEC Abidjan academy in the Ivory Coast, before moving to Belgium to spend two seasons at Beveren. Blessing Okagbare could be under pressure – ‘Juju man’

Ahead of the World Athletics Championship in Moscow,coach Brown Ebewele(Juju man) has stated that the weight of expectation on Blessing Okagbare could put her under pressure. Ebewele reckoned that Nigeria faltered at the London 2012 Olympics, because all the hopes were pinned on Okagbare,which affected her performances at the Games. “I fear that Blessing may be under pressure but I pray she remains strong,” Ebewele told Vanguard Sports. “We went to the London Olympics and banked all our hopes on one person. The same thing is happening today. We have a situation where the President of the Athletics Federation in the person of Chief Solomon Ogba is spending so much of his personal money to lift the sport. It does not augur well for Nigeria because he who pays the piper dictates the tune.” Okagbare will be competing in four events in Moscow: 100m, 200m, 4x100m and the Long Jump events.

Chris Brown Suffers Seizure at Recording Studio: Report

Chris Brown may be recovering from a serious health scare. Reports surfaced Friday, Aug. 9, claiming the 24-year-old singer suffered a seizure early Friday morning. According to TMZ, the L.A. City Fire Dept. received a 911 call that Brown had suffered a seizure at Hollywood recording studio Record Plant. The call was reportedly made at 1:09 a.m. and EMTs then raced to the scene. When they arrived, however, Brown allegedly refused treatment. TMZ notes that it remains unclear whether or not Brown did, in fact, suffer a seizure. X17 also reported on the incident and said Brown's mother flew from Virginia to be with her son Very early Friday morning, Brown's on-again, off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran tweeted, "Prayers all day." She later added, "A lot on my mind today . . . I need a hug," and included a picture of her  Brown has yet to release a statement regarding the reports.

Nicholas Kirkwood’s London Fashion Week Makeover

NICHOLAS KIRK WOOD is giving London Fashion Week a makeover. The footwear designer will be responsible for all the creative branding for the spring/summer 2014 London show schedule in September - designing the artwork for all press and marketing materials. The imagery will feature his signature chevron pattern and incorporate his love of bold geometric and architecturally inspired prints - as seen in his hugely successful shoe line. He will also redesign the courtyard of Somerset House, which will incorporate an "interactive and reflective element", to bring a new experience to visitors. "It's a great privilege to be able to team up with the BFC on this exciting project and apply my interpretation to the London Fashion Week campaign," said Kirkwood. "I've taken elements of my work and designed a pattern that I feel reflects the bold nature and energy of London Fashion Week." The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has called on those behind the violence in some parts of the country to use this year’s Eid-al-Fitri to thread carefully and understand also that it is not right to take another man’s life.
