Body of the late Prophet T O Obadare buried in Osun

The remains of the General Overseer of the World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry (WOSEM), Prophet Timothy Obadare, who died in March 2013 at the age of 83, were laid to rest in a mausoleum at the headquarters of WOSEM, at Illeki in Ilesa, Osun State yesterday Saturday August 17th.

Osun State governor, the Osun state executive council, church members, associates, friends, and family attended the burial yesterday to pay their last respect.

And we have a new party Barring any last minute hitch, a new political party will berth in the already charged Nigerian political turf this week. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed on Wednesday that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and some Governors of the crisis-ridden ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have applied for the registration of a group, Peoples Progressive Movement (PPM), as a political party. The commission said it is processing the application. The Daily Independent is reporting that among the Governors who are promoting the new political association are Murtala Nyako of Adamawa, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Sule Lamido of Jigawa and Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano – the same folks who have been touring the country (under the Peoples Democratic Party umbrella of course), purporting to be on a mission to save our democracy.

Share on Tumblr Sony’s PS4 release date has finally been announced at Gamescom 2013. Long live play indeed! The PS4 release date is the 15 of November in North America, and 29 of November in Europe. This date coincides with where many suspected it would land. With the holiday rush in full swing at that time of the year, it was a no-brainer for Sony to release their fourth generation proper console then. Before today’s official announcement of the PS4 release date, it was confirmed by Sony that the PlayStation 4 would come out “Holiday 2013.” The PS4 was first unveiled during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference. The console has an italicized equals sign look, and will retail for £349 / €399 / $399. One of the largest draws to the PS4 over Microsoft’s Xbox One was that the PS4 will not require an Internet connection, and used games will not be blocked.
